Commercial Roofer (Warehouses)

We are looking for a skilled Commercial Roofer to join our team, specializing in large-scale warehouse roofing projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working with long-run iron roofing, flashings, and guttering, ensuring high-quality installations that meet industry standards. Key Responsibilities: • Measure, cut, and install long-run iron roofing with precision. • Secure sheets using appropriate screws and fasteners to ensure durability. • Install drip edges and other weatherproofing elements to prevent leaks. • Assist in installing barge flashings, ridging, and stitching screws for a secure finish. • Help with the installation of gutters, downpipes, and peno boxes for proper drainage. • Work on bird-proofing solutions to prevent nesting and contamination. • Ensure all work meets NZ building code requirements and safety standards. • Operate power tools, cutting tools, and lifting equipment safely. • Work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining high attention to detail.

Requirements: • Proven experience in commercial or residential roofing (commercial preferred). • Skilled in working with long-run metal roofing and flashings. • Strong knowledge of roof installation techniques and materials. • Ability to read and interpret roofing plans and specifications. • Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions. • Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials. • Site Safe and/or working-at-heights certification (preferred but not required). • Full NZ driver’s license (preferred).
