Carpenters, Hammerhands and Labourers

Looking for experienced carpenters, hammerhands and labourers for casual work with potential to go into full-time employment. Job duties as below:

CARPENTER: - Ability to work with plans and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation. - Skilled and experienced carpenter to order or select timbers and materials and prepare layouts. - Fitting, cutting, laminating and shaping different types of construction materials. - Loading and unloading building materials, machinery, and tools and distributing them to construction or road sites. - Additional tasks will include mixing, pouring, and preparing construction sites to eliminate potential hazards, fabricating wall frames and trusses, and other related duties as required.

HAMMERHANDS: Assisting/supporting the carpenter.

LABOURER: Assisting skilled workers, loading and unloading building materials, machinery, and tools, distributing materials to appropriate locations, and moving construction/extraction materials as needed.

- Must have full licence and own vehicle, to travel to job sites. Sometimes multiple sites per day. - Must have own tools with basic PPE gear. - Reliable to be available on short notices. - Physically fit and able. Some jobs require digging holes under houses. - You must be able to read and understand instructions in English and comfortable to communicate with the team. - Must be able to pass pre-employment checks: MOJ, Police Checks and drug test.
