Local Invercargill sawmill are on the hunt for motivated and hardworking staff .

Due to continuous growth, the Remanufacturing Department is seeking hardworking individuals to join our cutline department for the newly created weekend shift.

We are looking for Machine Operators / Labourers who are reliable, adaptable, physically fit, and have a positive attitude. All applicants Candidates must be clear, open, and honest communicators and highly reliable

Key Responsibilities: - Material handling and machine operation - Active involvement in production lines - Setting up and running machinery in the Cutline Department - Performing quality control checks - Maintaining equipment and workspace

On Offer: - Weekend working Friday, Saturday and Sunday ( 3 x 12 hour shifts) - Additional hours available on Monday - Perfect for parents juggling care arrangements - Continuous upskilling and career progression - Thorough on-site training and ongoing guidance - Steady, secure employment with weekly pay - Overtime rates - Well-deserved break during Christmas and New Year - A safe, positive work environment

Job Requirements

Requirements: - Excellent health and safety awareness - A great team player with a positive attitude - Full driver’s license and reliable transportation - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and full medical examination, including a practical assessment - Great references and a consistent work history
