Our client is seeking enthusiastic candidates looking to start their career in Tyre Fitting. The successful candidates will be fully trained and in turn be responsible for the safe and efficient fitting, balancing, and repairing of tyres on a variety of vehicles. Responsibilities: ● Fitting, balancing, and aligning tyres on cars, trucks, and other vehicles. ● Using tyre fitting and balancing equipment safely and effectively. ● Inspecting tyres for damage and wear. ● Repairing punctures and other tyre damage. ● Assessing tyre condition and recommending appropriate repairs or replacements. ● Providing friendly and efficient service to customers. ● Advising customers on tyre maintenance and selection. ● Answering customer inquiries and addressing concerns. ● Maintaining accurate records of tyre stock. ● Assisting with stock ordering and inventory control. ● Maintaining a clean and organized work environment. ● Ensuring equipment is properly maintained and in good working order. ● Adhering to all health and safety regulations. ● Using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

You will need a Full Class 1 Driver Licence and be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle. Experienced Tyre Fitter are also welcome to apply.

Job Requirements

● Full Class 1 License ● Able to drive a manual transmission vehicle ● Strong attention to detail. ● Good communication and customer service skills. ● Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ● Ability to lift heavy tyres and equipment. ● Ability to work in a physically demanding environment. ● Warrant of Fitness (WOF) inspection experience is an advantage but not necessary ● Knowledge of vehicle servicing is an advantage but not necessary ● Experience with tyre retreading is an advantage but not necessary ● Work will be performed in a workshop environment. ● Work may involve exposure to noise, dust, and grease. ● Physical demands include lifting and standing for extended periods. ● Be willing to undergo random drug tests while employed. ● Must be NZ Citizen, NZ Resident or eligible to work in NZ.

Days of work
Monday and Friday between 7am and 6pm. Occasional weekend work. (40 hours per week)

$26-$29 depending on experience
