Caregiver

As a Caregiver at Coldstream Lifecare, no two days will be the same, but you can be certain that each day you will leave work feeling fulfilled knowing that you’ve made a big difference in somebody else’s day. The work can be challenging, but it is also meaningful and rewarding, and your supportive and welcoming team will become your second family. As a Caregiver, you will use your skills to: - work together in a team to provide a safe, caring, and supportive environment for our residents - follow individual resident care plans - form lasting relationships with residents and their whanau/family - adapt and support your wider team members to create a great team environment.

The ideal candidate should have the NZQA Level 2 or 3 NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or a qualification as being equivalent or within the meaning of section 2 of the Industry Training and Apprenticeship Act 1992 or equivalent overseas qualification.

The ideal candidate must be able to show: -Resilience - maintains professional manner and deals effectively with pressured and difficult times. -Process improvement - looks for ways to improve and streamline the work process. -Customer focus - builds customer confidence, resolving customer problems etc -Adaptability - responds to changes in a positive way, and a willingness to learn new ways to accomplish work activities. -Quality - attention to detail and high work standards

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and MOJ check.
