Employer is seeking a Packing Operator to join our production team. This role is based in the butter manufacturing operation at their Waharoa site.

Reporting to the Plant Manager - Butter, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the packing line and the palletising floor alternatively as per relevant SOPs.

The role involves working 12-hour shifts on roster (4 on / 4 off).

Tasks involve: - Operate automated packing & palletising lines - Oversee all downstream equipment - Operate a forklift (packing materials & final product) - Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the plant - Support wider team where required

Job Requirements

- Right to work in New Zealand - Experience in the food industry and warehousing industry (preferred) - Experience in operating automated manufacturing equipment (preferred) - Strong communication, numeracy and literacy skills - Forklift driving license - Must pass a drug test - Convictions are considered on case by case basis

Days of work
4 days on, 4 days off, with 12-hour shifts from 6AM to 6PM - day shift, and 6PM to 6AM - night shift (40 hours per week)
Pay Details
$29 - $38 PH dep on experience
