BARISTA

We are looking for a Barista to work at our Retirement Village in Khandallah. You will be providing exceptional service to our Residents and their friends while also helping provide a great dining experience!

Working for this upmarket Retirement Village you will have previous barista experience and duties will include providing excellent food and Beveridge service in the cafe for residents, relatives, and visitors.

Providing a welcoming atmosphere at the village and crafting delicious beverages as well as maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the cafe.

This is a fast-paced environment, so you'll be someone who loves being part of the team, enjoys thinking on your feet, and can prioritise and juggle tasks with ease.

With the enjoyment of helping others, some things that will support your application include:

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment such as a commercial kitchen/cafe. • Barista skills - ideally, you will have previous experience in a busy cafe operating the coffee machine and preparing various hot beverages. • Have impeccable personal presentation. • Have exceptional interpersonal skills - it's a people role! • Have good communication skills, both written and verbal. • Must be able to pass MOJ check.
