Local Sushi employer seeking reliable individuals to join their team. Your role involves delivering excellent customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring efficient kitchen operations. Key responsibilities include: Excellent customer Service ,to provide friendly and professional service while upholding company values. Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare, cook, and present food following standards and safety guidelines, including knife handling and machine use. Maintenance & Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all areas, ensuring equipment is ready for use. Stock & Inventory: Assist in receiving goods, checking stock quality, and monitoring inventory levels. Teamwork & Training: Collaborate with colleagues, assist in training new staff, and participate in team meetings. Promotions & Sales: Support business promotions through suggestive selling, samples, and vouchers. Continuous Improvement: Strive to enhance skills, efficiency, and work quality to align with company goals
Job Requirements
Verifiable work experience or qualification of sufficient knowledge and skills to carry out assigned tasks Good command of English to carry out the above tasks Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate may be required when work experience or qualification cannot be verified Personal hygiene is essential Punctuality, hospitality and diligent work ethic are highly valued Equivalent to NZQF Level 1 or compulsory secondary education will sufficient.
- Days of work
- Monday to Sunday 7 am to 8 pm according to the weekly rotating rosters, mostly 4-5 days per week (30 hours per week)
