Opportunity is in Kawhia , Waikato Preparation • Skinning, trimming, washing, gilling, gutting, filleting, shucking, and descaling seafood • Removing bones from fish • Preparing fish for processing by removing skin or excess flesh Grading and packing • Sorting, inspecting, and grading seafood products for size and quality • Counting and packing prepared seafood for freezing • Packing frozen seafood blocks into cartons • Weighing meat, fish, or shellfish Cleaning • Cleaning the processing area and packing line with hot water or sanitising chemicals • Maintaining processing machinery and other equipment Quality control • Carrying out hygiene and quality control checks • Checking products and packaging for defects and compliance to company standards Other tasks • Unloading fish and shellfish from fishing vessels • Transporting fish and shellfish to work area • Transporting supplies and packaging materials

Job Requirements

Flexible hours and may include night shifts and weekends depending on job orders
