Digger-Machine Operator

Important automotive company in Hamilton is seeking a skilled and reliable Digger-Machine Operator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to support the scrapping and recycling operations.

Responsibilities - Manoeuvre motorized heavy equipment to ensure accurate removal and placement of materials - Operate the digger for scrapping cars and car parts/material - Operate the baler for scrapping cars - Use a forklift to move vehicles as needed - Perform routine maintenance on plant and machinery - Identify and fix potential issues on machinery - Conduct daily operational tests on machinery - Carry out daily checks and grease the machinery operated - Report any machinery faults immediately - Notify management of required machinery servicing at least one week in advance - Adhere to company health and safety procedures
