Delivery Driver

Light Delivery Driver role based in Manukau required urgently. Ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering products to customers, businesses, or other destinations. This role involves operating a light delivery vehicle (such as a van or small truck), ensuring goods are delivered on time, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Drive and Deliver: Operate a light delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations according to assigned routes. Route Planning: Follow delivery schedules and planned routes efficiently while ensuring timely deliveries. Load and Unload: Assist with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring they are properly secured during transit to avoid damage. Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional manner, addressing inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction. Documentation: Complete delivery forms, sign-off documents, and maintain accurate records of deliveries. Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor or manager. Safety: Comply with all safety regulations and traffic laws, ensuring the safety of the driver, passengers, and the cargo. Inventory Control: Help with inventory checks and verify delivery contents with the dispatch team to avoid discrepancies.
