Well known National Outdoor Hunting and Fishing Retail Chain Gisborne based Store are looking for their next Retail Superstar! This is a sales role, with day to day selling, that requires forward planning and great communication skills. We want a person that brings enthusiasm and a positive attitude to this role. We are always looking for fresh talent and this could be your time. We want someone passionate about the ranges of outdoor sports our customers enjoy in this area. We sell a broad range of products, so an ability and commitment to get up to speed across all categories is required. We use online systems and sales tools, so an ability to deal with technology is needed. We require our team to be confident in all categories within the store to ensure we are offering exceptional knowledge and service in all we do, so that our customers’ needs are met every time they walk in the door. For this role you need to be up for a challenge, positive, and have a great work ethic. Our team is determined and passionate about the products we work with, we get stuck in and make things happen. Would suit a person with knowledge of the great outdoors in all aspects of Fishing, Diving, Hunting, Camping equipment, clothing and has some great hunting and fishing yarns to tell eager customers. Retail Sales Assistant/Customer Service Retail Assistant required for busy outlet with focus on outdoor activities. Someone keen on the outdoors with a current valid gun licence would be ideal - must be reliable with good customer service skills, including cash handling.

Qualifications & Experience Retail experience is ideal but not mandatory, however being an “out there doing it” kind of person is mandatory. Good with computer systems and processes.

Job Requirements

Previous customer service experience. Be outgoing with good sales skills, competent at cash handling and general retail transactions.
