Opportunity is based in Waharoa , Waikato milking, and assisting with identifying sickness in dairy cattle while milking-feeding out supplements to the cows with the tractor and trailer-grazing and pasture management, by setting up electric temporary fences, taking them down, checking for power faults in electric fences-assisting with farm equipment maintenance-driving tractors and farm equipment-assisting with making silage-assisting with general farm work including repairing fences, spraying weeds, replacing fences insulators, gates handle-assisting with maintenance of the water supply system-shifting irrigation and irrigation system maintenance-cleaning the milking machine, maintaining the hygiene of the dairy shed-assisting with collecting the colostrum from the freshly calved cows and feeding it to the newly born calves-assisting with the operation of picking up new born calves from the paddock and bring them to the appropriate sheds-undertaking general farm duties, as required by the employer.
