City based employer is seeking an organised and motivated Accounts Administrator with a strong eye for detail to join their team Key Responsibilities: Customer Portfolio Management: Manage and maintain a portfolio of key customer accounts, ensuring accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions. Invoicing & Reconciliation: Prepare, review, and process invoices on a weekly and monthly basis, ensuring accuracy in billing and account reconciliation. Deadline Management: Work with the team to ensure that weekly and monthly deadlines are met for all accounts, prioritizing tasks and handling urgent requests as needed. Customer Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries related to accounts, providing excellent customer service and addressing any issues promptly. Collaboration: Work closely with the accounts team, assisting with day-to-day tasks and contributing to a collaborative working environment. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to increase efficiency within the team and for customer accounts.
Job Requirements
Previous experience in an accounts administration or similar role. Strong understanding of accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and financial reconciliation. Ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with customers. Proficiency in Excel, and Google Sheets, with experience using accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, Reckon, etc.) preferred. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A proactive approach to problem-solving and managing customer expectations.
