Retail Sales Assistant

Henderson based retailer is on the hunt for reliable and motivated Retail Sales Assistants to join the team. In this role, you will support the store manager with an array of operational tasks and projects; including stock ordering, stock takes, banking, cash handling, merchandising, and much more. Tasks will include but are not limited to: - Labelling goods and ensuring the correct price is displayed. - Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards. - Opening and closing of premises and associated security. - Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service. - Handling the cash counter & invoice the customers for the goods purchased. - Listening to customers’ complaints & forward it to the management to address it in the professional manner. - Good communication and computer skills - Good mathematic skills to accurately manage cash and payment given by customers - Available to work on weekends and public holidays. Able to start early and finish late shifts when required - Be physically fit (able to lift weight up to 25kg), hardworking and reliable with great attention to detail. - Reliable own transport (early morning starts and late night finish)
