Class 5 Driver / Chip sealing Operator

You will primarily be responsible for driving the truck pulling a four axle transport trailer with machinery to site, unloading and loading the machinery, then reverse spreading sealing chip. Delivering high quality sealing works for our internal teams plus private external clients. The successful candidate to take part in a variety of tasks and responsibilities within our Chipsealing crew. Your key responsibilities will include: * Driving (reversing spreading sealing chip) Class 4 chip truck * Towing 4 axle transport trailer or bitumen bulk trailer Class 5 * Loading and unloading plant of and on the transporter and securing * Loading the truck with a frontend loader * Assist with chipseal site preparation and operation

It’s very specialised work. Historically, we have found without this experience people have really struggled with reverse spreading & manoeuvring a truck around narrow roads with the hoist up. No, unfortunately we would not consider candidates with less experience.
