About this job
We are seeking a caring and reliable cook to join our team and prepare homestyle meals for our residents, following a set meal plan. Your role will be to ensure meals are tasty, meet dietary needs, and create a positive dining experience for the residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow the established meal plan to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including hot drinks and snacks.
Assist with kitchen cleaning, including washing dishes and keeping the dining area tidy. Ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, adhering to food safety standards and staying within budget.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous cooking experience, preferably in a care home or similar setting. Ability to follow a meal plan and cater to the dietary needs of elderly residents. Knowledge of food safety and cleanliness standards. A passion for providing excellent service and nutritious meals to residents.
