We have an opportunity for people who enjoy outdoor work, motivated and a good team player in the Te Puke / Paengaroa area from April 2025 with the potential of going through until November 2025.

Duties include picking, canes on strings, bud thinning, fruit thinning, crush tipping, male pruning and summer pruning, planting, stringing and other general orchard work.

You will be on your feet and working above head and shoulders height for long periods of time.

This work is weather dependant with up to 5 to 6 days of work available. Closed footwear must be worn on orchard – gumboots and sneakers are suitable. Tools are provided by the employer. Training is provided.

For health and safety reasons, closed footwear must be worn on-orchard – gumboots are suitable.

You will require secured accommodation within daily travel distance prior to applying.

Job Requirements

Must have closed footwear, be physically capable of being on feet for long periods and able to work above head and shoulders for long periods. Reliable transport to travel to and from work. Minimum restricted drivers licence if driving self. Minor convictions considered.
