About this job
• Be familiar with daily and ongoing menus, functions and specials • Offer new ideas for new dishes, when invited, submit new menu items • Ensure individual section and responsibilities are ready to meet daily, function and special requirements • Ensure necessary stock is on hand • Prep dish components and ensure these are up to standard • Follow recipes and instructions carefully • Clean preparation service and other areas daily • Report to Head/Sous Chef • Treat staff fairly and with courtesy • Compliance with NZSFA food control plan and healthy and safety
Job Requirements
• Experience in a similar role • Level 4 National Certificate in Hospitality (Professional Cookery) • Good physical health • Interest in food and upskilling • Good communication skills • Proactive • Good personal hygiene • Able to work as part of a team • Honest/reliable • Have efficient time management
- Days of work
- Hours will vary 35 – 40 per week. Monday through to Sunday. Varied and Split Shifts. To discuss with Work Broker. (35 hours per week)
