Construction Worker
About this job
• Load or unload construction materials and transport them around building sites. • Support tradesmen in assembling prefabricated building components, following blueprints and specifications. • Follow instructions from supervisors, including assist with carrying, moving, setting up, and demolishing. • Supply materials and ensure tradesmen have an adequate supply of commonly used tools, such as power tools, measurement tools, and safety equipment. • Follow instructions from supervisors, assist in plastering painting etc. • Reporting any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or incidents to site supervisor. • Clean and maintain equipment, tools and machines, and keeping in good working condition. • Perform site clean-up. • Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisors to fulfill job requirements. • Be ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.
Job Requirements
Must have Full NZ D/L need reliable transport. Must Pass MOJ check Must Pass Drug Testing Expected Attendance: (e.g. M – F, 8am to 5pm) Monday to Saturday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Work on Sundays may also be required. The usual weekly working hours range from 30 to 50 hours.
