Handyman - Carpenter Assistant

Perform minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs. Assemble, install, and repair furniture and fixtures. Paint, patch, and repair drywall. Maintain and repair appliances and tools. Ensure all maintenance requests are completed in a timely manner. Assist with landscaping, lawn care and weeding. Respond to emergency repair requests as needed. Perform general maintenance and emergency repairs as needed. Repair and replacement of joinery. Deck and fencing repair - new build. Perform general cleaning and upkeep of work areas and vehicles. - Experience in a customer service role or similar field would be an advantage - Knowledge of basic repairs in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry - Full New Zealand Driver Licence - Ability to drive manual vehicles and skill in reversing trailers - May be required to travel occasionally outside Auckland Region - Available for emergency works and/or afterhours and weekend work - Strong problem-solving and attention to detail - A customer-friendly attitude and ability to work independently - Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a variety of conditions - Have good grasp of technology to use our dedicated app to manage your workday, appointments and keep track of tasks for each job on the day. - Drug/alcohol test prior to employment, ongoing tests as requested - MOJ and Police Check Open - Weekend and afterhours work maybe required depending on different projects based on our clients needs - Residentially qualified to work full-time in New Zealand
