Qualified Carpenter

• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials to create building structures and components such as doors, windows, stairs, cabinets, and frames. • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements. • Install frameworks, drywall, doors, windows, and other wooden structures according to project specifications. • Troubleshoot and repair existing structures or furniture when needed. • Ensure all carpentry work is completed to a high standard, adhering to both safety regulations and quality expectations. • Maintain and keep track of materials and tools, ensuring they are properly cared for and available when needed. • Lead and manage a team of carpenters, ensuring the work is completed on time and to a high standard. • Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) is preferred. • Must have own tools for carpentry work. • Reliable, trustworthy, and a team player with excellent leadership skills. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. • Strong attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship. • Must pass a drug test prior to employment. • No criminal convictions. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations. • Reliable transportation
