Head Barperson

About the Role:

As Head Barman, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our bar operation, ensuring top-tier service, quality beverages, and smooth day-to-day running of the bar. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a dynamic and motivated individual with a strong background in bar management.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the bar team, including training, mentoring, and rostering. Maintain high standards for beverage preparation and presentation. Develop creative cocktail and beverage menus, ensuring cost efficiency. Manage stock levels, ordering, and accurate monthly stock takes. Ensure compliance with liquor licensing regulations – a current General Manager’s Certificate, or the ability to obtain it. Build relationships with suppliers and ensure cost-effective purchasing. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bar environment. Drive up selling initiatives and meet budgeted KPI levels. Work closely with Front of House and Kitchen teams to enhance the overall dining experi

*2+ years experience, including time in a bar management or senior bar role is preferred. *Strong leadership and motivational skills. *Extensive knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and local/international beverage trends. *Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure. *Customer-focused with a positive and outgoing personality. *Solid understanding of budgeting, costing, and stock control. *A commitment to teamwork and excellence. *Reliable, flexible, and eager to contribute to a thriving hospitality environment.
