Support care worker - Taumarunui

A nationwide healthcare employer is looking for a support worker in Taumarunui. Ideally you will have support worker experience or be keen and willing to learn about the role and have a minimum of a restricted drivers license. You will need to be available to work rostered hours from Monday – Friday 7am – 5pm with alternative weekend required between the hours of 7am – 7pm. This role is for 20 hours per fortnight but will be reviewed later.

You will ideally have the following skills but is not necessary as full training will be provided: - Level 3 and level 4 Health and Wellbeing Certificate (recognised in NZ) - Spinal injury - Use of full, standing and two-person hoist - Stoma Management - TeTiriti o Waitangi and Bi-cultural approach - Experience issuing prescribed medication - Full/restricted driver's license - Be available to every second work weekend
