About this job

This is an entry-level position answering public enquiries by phone, email, and web. You will be trained on how to use key resources (like the Knowledge Base) to extract the information to complete those contacts.

You will be handling more complex enquiries that were not able to be resolved by our Level 1 call centre staff. You will be processing additions and changes to the elector records but mainly the updates for electors on the Unpublished roll. You will be dealing with sensitive information that cannot be shared outside the room.

We need people who are comfortable navigating through lots of applications to compile the right information as required and therefore are logical thinkers and problem solvers.

They need to be able to talk to people on the phone in a clear, calm, and empathetic way, particularly if the caller is agitated from having to be passed along from the Level 1 team.

Key Skills required:

High level of data entry keying accuracy Confident dealing with customers by phone Excellent attention to detail Ability to work well under pressure Experience in managing confidential information appropriately Strong verbal and written communication Ability to work well in a team Reliable attendance essential
