Tomato greenhouse worker.

An Ohaupo tomato grower requires workers to care for a tomato crop in a green house. This full time role involves working in a greenhouse; picking, de-leafing, pruning, and clipping. You don’t need previous experience or skills in horticulture as onsite training is provided. You will stay fit in this role as you'll be on your feet for most of the shift bending, reaching and lifting. You will need: • A positive attitude and the willingness to learn new skills • The ability to work in warm to hot temperatures • The ability to do physical work (lifting up to 25kgs) and a lot of walking each day. • The ability to work well in a team environment • Have no problem distinguishing the red/green colour spectrum. • Not be allergic to bees. This is a fixed term potentially for three months. This employer is based near Ohaupo applicants will need their own transport and at least a restricted drivers licence to get work.
