A Wellington Support provider is looking for a Employer and Jobseeker Support Officer to join their team. The Employer and Jobseeker Support Officer is a dynamic and impactful role, focused primarily on providing support to Jobseeker participants on programme in the Wellington region. This position is instrumental in supporting individuals to achieve sustainable employment while fostering meaningful relationships with stakeholders, community organisations, and employers. Key Responsibilities: Employer Partnerships: • Assist in coordinating with employers to understand recruitment needs and expectations. • Help match participants with job opportunities and facilitate their transition into employment. Candidate Support: • Provide basic guidance and support to programme participants, helping identify their needs. • Support the delivery of pre-employment training and assist in building participants' confidence for workforce readiness. Monitoring and Reporting: • Track participant progress and update records in the CRM system. Training and Workshops: • Assist the team in organising and delivering workshops focused on job-seeking skills and workplace readiness. Job Requirements

• Interpersonal Skills: Compassionate, empathetic, and able to build trust with diverse groups. • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication abilities. • Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to establish and maintain productive relationships. • Problem-Solving: Adaptable with excellent analytical and decision-making skills. • Organisation: Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities. • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems and data management tools. • Passion for Community Impact: A genuine desire to empower individuals and drive positive change. • Will need a full clean class 1 drivers’ licence. • Must be able to pass pre-employment MOJ checks and drug test

Education and Experience: • 1 - 3 years’ experience in a customer facing, call centre, or human centered services. • Life Experience, including a deep understanding of what it is to be a Jobseeker in New Zealand.
