Class 5 Truck Driver / Swing lift Operator

Key Accountabilities:

- Safely and efficiently operate a Class 5 truck and swing lift to transport goods to various locations as assigned. - Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure road-worthiness and safety compliance. - Strictly adhere to all transport regulations, road laws, and safety standards during every trip. - Accurately maintain delivery records and complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner. - Effectively communicate with dispatchers, clients, and team members to ensure seamless operations and on-time deliveries. - Handle and secure goods carefully, ensuring that items are delivered in excellent condition without damage.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

- Pass a police check. - Pass a pre employment drug test. - A valid Class 5 driver’s license with Dangerous Goods and Forklift endorsements. - A minimum of three years of swing lift operating experience in a similar role. - A clean driving record with strong knowledge of New Zealand road transport regulations. - Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage tight delivery schedules. - Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor, both with clients and internal teams. - Physical fitness and the capability to perform loading and unloading tasks as required. - Eligibility to work in New Zealand and the willingness to work at least 40 hours per week. - Be available to start ASAP.
