A turf farm located just outside Palmerston North is currently looking for dedicated individuals to fill both full-time and part-time positions. The role involves a variety of tasks, including turf harvesting, mowing, irrigation, machine operation, installation, and general farm duties.

The full-time position offers consistent hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the possibility of additional hours on weekends for irrigation work during the summer (approximately 3 extra hours per day).

The part-time role typically runs from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with flexibility on both hours and days to suit your availability.

Previous involvement in agricultural or horticultural industries is an advantage (i.e. tractor driving), as would some mechanical aptitude and knowledge.

Ideal applicant will have: -A good work ethic and be reliable -Be physically fit and in good health -Common sense and the ability to communicate -Be proactive -Show attention to detail -Have the ability to follow simple instructions -A current Full Driver licence -Ready to do a pre-employment drug test if needed -Able to undertake heavy lifting. -Work effectively in a small team -Convictions considered on a case by case basis.
