Housekeeper

Local hotel is on the look out for a new housekeeper to join their awesome team. Be part of an exciting new accommodation brand in Rotorua, The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing to ensure the cleanliness of all rooms and public areas. Ensure that all rooms are thoroughly cleaned and inspected in accordance with company standards. Maintain equipment properly, ensuring no damages or deficiencies. Report any damages, deficits, or disturbances to management immediately. Address guest complaints or requests with professionalism, patience, and courtesy. Monitor and replenish stock levels of consumables, replacing items as necessary. Strictly adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures. Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel environment is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Ability to work 5 days over a 7 day roster including weekends and public holidays.
