Orchard Worker

There is an exciting opportunity available in the Gisborne area for individuals to join the Kiwi fruit picking team. The role involves general duties such as picking fruit and assisting with other tasks related to Kiwi fruit vines. No previous experience required as full training will be provided by the employer, however previous experience is a bonus. Candidates must be physically fit, able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests, and be open to working with people from all walks of life. There is also the potential for additional seasonal work or full-time employment for the right candidates. A minimum height requirement of 1.65m applies due to the vine height

Applicants MUST have reliable transport to commute to and from work. They must be physically fit and capable of passing both pre-employment and random drug tests. Minor convictions will be evaluated on an individual basis. While CVs are not necessary, candidates should be able to clearly outline their relevant skills and experience. A positive attitude is essential, along with the ability to be friendly and respectful toward others. Applicants must be open to working with people from diverse backgrounds, ages, and ethnicities. A genuine interest in the horticulture industry is also required. Height 1.65m or taller for safety / vine height
