Stone Processing Machine Operator

Opportunity is based at Morrisville, Waikato Follow Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 regulations. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Follow work-related directions from management. Report all incidents, accidents, and near misses. Maintain and report mechanical faults to ensure machinery is in good working order. Monitor flow of raw materials and adjust machine settings accordingly. Position clay and stone on machines for cutting and processing. Operate concrete mixing, stacking, and splitting machines. Set up and install moulds and other machine fixtures. Collect and examine samples to ensure they meet specifications. Use hand tools to cut, inscribe, and polish stone. Set and maintain grinding and cutting edges. Achieve production targets within set timeframes. Maintain quality control standards for all manufactured products. Contribute to the manufacturing of masonry, pavers, and retaining products.
Job Requirements
Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks. Must pass a pre-employment drug test. Must provide a current CV with relevant experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Valid driver’s license. At least one year of relevant experience OR a Level 4 qualification in a related field. Personal Skills & Attributes Strong team player with good communication skills. Mechanical aptitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Punctual, reliable, and committed to high work standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
