As a Driller Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the driller and the drilling team in recovering core samples for our diverse clientele across New Zealand. You will be part of a hardworking crew that values camaraderie, teamwork, and mutual support.
Key Duties - Assist the driller in the safe operation of drilling equipment. - Conduct daily pre-start checks on equipment. - Complete essential safety documentation and processes. - Support routine maintenance of drilling equipment. - Help with loading and unloading heavy vehicles. - Maintain cleanliness of drill rigs, vehicles, equipment, and tools. - Assist in setting up, dismantling, and relocating rigs as needed. - Perform other related tasks as required.

Job Requirements
- Strong commitment to health and safety practices. - Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role. - Mechanically inclined with excellent problem-solving abilities. - Eager to engage in training and professional development. - Clean criminal history. - New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Residency. - Valid New Zealand Driving Licence. - Must be able to drive a manual - Must pass a drug and alcohol test

- 12.5 Hour shifts, 7 days, 7 nights, 7 days off. (87.5 hours per week)
