Hydrovac Operator

Daily Tasks Involved in the role: *This position is for a driver/operator of a Hydrovac, however you will need to be able to do general tasks within the workplace at times when required.

You will need to be physically fit to enable you to: Climb in, on and out of machinery and trucks Carry out heavy lifting and hand digging Operation of small plant i.e. plate compactors, whackers etc, and do all of the above in all weather.

Hydrovac tasks include: Driving a class 4 truck, 6 – 8 wheeler Basic maintenance of Hydrovac Operate Hydrovac using remote control to operate suction boom, use hydro lance to excavate ground, wear supplied PPE

You will be required to perform the above duties and others, as reasonably requested, in a safe and competent manner in order to carry out the day to day running of this business in accordance with our company rules and following all Health Safety and Environment Policies and Procedures including daily hazard assessment & risk control.

Truck driving experience Minimum Class 4 Truck License WTR Endorsements would be great, but can be completed during employment. Need to have own transport to and from depot. Need to have own phone.
