Yard/Warehouse Person

A skilled forklift operator along with skills below required to work in our Warehouse dealing with all scaffolding products. duties include: Core objectives include: • Monitoring inventory of yard supplies and ordering materials to replenish stockpiles. • Managing and recording stock inventory, specifically the ingoing and outgoing of stock. • Heavy lifting and manual handling of equipment which will require a good level of physical fitness. • Loading and unloading customer and carrier trucks safely and efficiently. • Picking hire and sales orders. • Processing hire returns. • Coordinating with any other crew and office staff on the scheduling and use of plant and equipment. • Supervising yard crew duties, if required. • Maintain a neat and clean site at all times. • Ensuring the proper handling and storing of all materials. • Provide trade guidance and assistance as part of a work team. • Take directions and be able to direct the crew independently. • Understand and implement quality control techniques. • Work under limited supervision either individually or in a team environment.
