Farm Workers - Breeder

We're seeking Farm Workers to join our farming teams. These permanent positions will suit someone who enjoys farm work, is a jack of all trades, and most importantly, has genuine concern for animal welfare. The roles can be physically demanding with some heavy lifting required. If you are the type of person who likes to roll their sleeves up and pitch in, then this opportunity is for you! These are permanent roles starting at 7.00am. Weekend and public holiday work is required.

What's in it for you! • We pay above minimum rates. • We have levels of pay that increase after every 12 months' service for 3 consecutive years. • We pay overtime after 8 ordinary hours a day at 1.6 times your ordinary base rate for the first 2 hours' overtime, after which you get paid at 1.75 times your ordinary base rate for the remainder of that day's overtime. • Any weekend work is paid at 1.6 times your ordinary base rate • You will learn new skills and have the opportunity to develop a career. • You will have access to discounted chicken products.

Ideally, successful candidates will possess the following attributes and experience: • Reliable, punctual and determined to be at work every day • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn • Must be physically fit, strong and able do heavy lifting on regular basis • Ability to work in a team environment • Availability for weekend and public holiday shifts

You must have reliable transport to get to and from work, able to pass a pre-employment medical, drug check and a numeracy and literacy test. Criminal convictions considered on a case by case basis.
