Support Worker

A homecare support employer who is passionate about supporting people in the community and takes pride in the personalised service they deliver to the clients and the staff they work with is looking for a support worker. You will join an existing supportive and caring team who look after our clients with their daily tasks, social activities and work commitments. This includes but is not limited to: Personal cares (showering, toileting, dressing) Some cleaning and meal preparation Changing the bed Shopping To match well with their client you will need to be a special kind of person. One that has initiative, gets on well with others, is able to adapt to various situations and settings, can follow set processes and tasks, is proactive, has a ‘can do’ attitude and has great community skills.

The client you will be supporting is male and would prefer a male support worker. This role is based in Turangi however a travel allowance applies if you are travelling from Taupo or surrounding areas.

Previous experience as a caregiver/support worker is desirable however training will be provided.
