An Auckland based Scaffolding company is currently looking for a Ticketed Leading Hand Scaffolder that is highly experienced skilled professional who will be responsible for overseeing and supervising a team of scaffolders on construction projects. Overview Full time, permanent work Your ordinary hours of work will be 40 hours per week normally worked between 6:00am-6:00pm Monday to Friday. However, at times you may have the option to work on the weekend or at night for an overtime wage. Maximum hours 55 a week. Competitive hourly rate In-house training and external training courses available. Be a part of a growing company. What you need to be successful in this role:
You must have a Scaffolding ticket. Must have clean Driver license or the overseas equivalent. Class 2 Drivers license Current site safe and working at heights. You must be able to work within the timeframe of the project and be a reliable member of the team. Knowing, understanding, communicating, and ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and company safety policies and procedures or the ability to learn.
Job Requirements
Key tasks and responsibilities: Must have valid Scaffolding tickets. Manage a team front the start to completion of a project. Effectively communicate with management and team members during the full duration of a project. Erect and dismantle scaffolding as instructed. Stack excess materials for pick up after erecting and/or dismantling a job. Attend internal and/or external training sessions when arranged by the company. Complete any duties as instructed by the Supervisor as and when required. Act always in a safe manner and comply with all safety regulations.
