Kiwifruit picking roles are opening in Opotiki and Te Kaha and applications from persons who are fit and keen to work in the outdoors are invited. You will need to be able to work at shoulder height and above with the ability to lift up to 25kgs and able to pass a police check. If you are a good team player who is motivated, reliable and happy to work standing on your feet, this may well be the role for you. To be considered you will need to live within commutable distance and have your own reliable transport. Once trained in the picking roles, piece rates will apply and thus give you the opportunity to earn significantly more than you started on. Opportunities are also available for training and upskilling in different roles for those showing potential and ability to develop. No previous experience required although it could be seen as advantageous Driver licence and reliable transport to get to and from the orchards Ability to be flexible in work hours as work is weather dependent No serious criminal convictions Closed footwear to be worn e.g. gumboots
