Facilities Cleaning Specialist

A national Facilities Cleaning Specialist company is looking for workers in the Ashburton Area. The job description reads as: • Performing scheduled daily cleaning tasks with reliability and punctuality • Operate cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers and vacuum cleaners safely and effectively. • Conducting deep cleaning of production areas • Sanitizing the plant after production and preparing it for the next production cycle • Respond promptly to cleaning emergencies, such as spills or breakages, to prevent hazards • Conducting thorough post-cleaning checks to ensure all tasks are completed correctly • Completing all required paperwork accurately and in compliance with company procedures. • Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations. • Ensuring personal protective equipment (PPE) and cleaning equipment are used correctly and maintained. • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor. • Handling cleaning chemicals safely with provided PPE and training. • Hours are between 30 - 32 per week • Have NZ residency or the legal right to work in New Zealand. • Be willing to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination. • Pass the Drug test. • Pass the Police vetting (MOJ.)
