A local employer is looking for a professional individual who has a high level of organisational skills and proficient administration to provide essential support to our team. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations and contribute to the overall efficiency of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and support the Vision and Values of the company. - Provide administration to all functions across the organisation. - Encourage the use of te reo me ona tikanga, me Te Tiriti o Waitangi. - Welcome whanau and visitors. - Administer mail, email, and communication channels daily and review regularly. - Manage inventory of stock, stationery, and supplies. - Organise meetings, schedule appointments and oversee catering. - Other tasks as required from time to time.
Skills:
- Have a keen eye for detail - Previous experience in an administrative role or a similar position. - Strong written and verbal communication skills across various platforms. - Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as a flexible team member. - Work together to demonstrate commitment and engagement at all business levels. - Solid understanding of policies, systems, and procedures with a logical approach. - Eagerness to learn and understand relevant legislation. - Proficient in IT, with experience using Microsoft Office. - Trustworthy and adept at handling confidential matters. - Comfortable interacting with people at all levels and from diverse backgrounds. - Excellent organisational and planning abilities with a keen eye for detail. - Strong time management skills, able to multitask and prioritise a diverse workload. - Self motivated, proactive, and capable of taking initiative. - Calm under pressure, with a positive and solution focused attitude.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in an administration role or relevant position. - Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. - Hold a Current Drivers licence, Minimum of a Restricted Licence. - And an understanding of Te Reo Maori and Tikanga.
