About this job

A stock feed manufacturing company requires an intelligent and responsible person to follow recipes exactly with a view to producing a high quality product to specification and procedures. Duties involve assisting with loading out product into a truck, a bulk bag or bag off the product into 25kg bags. The appointee will also be required to operate a forklift safely, learn and follow procedures and fill in documentation required for inwards and outwards goods. You will need to systematically record what's coming in and out, able to operate the weighbridge using the correct procedures and undertake other duties as required

Job Requirements

You will need to be mathematically savvy to ensure the right quantities of the right ingredients are placed into the mix, be machinery minded, learn how to run machines without supervision and able to carry out basic maintenance work e.g. greasing, tightening chains, elevator buckets etc. The appointee will be highly health and safety conscious, able to operate machinery in a safe manner, pay attention to detail, be physically fit, able to lift up to 25kgs and work in dusty conditions. Need to be tidy, organised and efficient. May be required to pass a drug test and court convictions will be considered on a case by case basis.
