Shift Manager/Supervisor

A local Whanganui hospitality employer is looking for 4 people to work full-time 30 hours a week as a Shift Manager/Supervisor. The duties include operating shifts as allocated by the roster, organising cash control, customer service including selling goods when required, store cleanliness, and the organising and training/development of team members. You will also need to ensure compliance is met by team members with all business policies and standards, that stock levels are maintained, financial transactions, ensuring the budget is maintained and adhered to and advise any changes as required. There will also be some assisting with management of the selection of new staff when required, ordering of stock, ensuring relevant health and safety is adhered to including food safety standards and overseeing and ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of company vehicles including GPS System management and leading sales-building activities. Must be able to pass a police check and a drug test. Must have a business qualification at minimum of a diploma level or above. Holding of a first aid certificate, and both a 167 and 168 food safety is preferred.
