About this job
About the Role: You will prep ingredients, cook using grills and fryers and assemble food according to the house recipes and specifications. The successful candidate will be able to: • Listening and understanding the management and Head Chef’s requests and direction • Preparing, portioning, and cooking food to house specifications • Monitoring the quality and presentation of all food leaving the kitchen and ensure it is prepared and cooked to a high standard. • Have full menu knowledge. • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen. • Operate grills and fryers efficiently and safely. • Ensure food is correctly stored and handled. • Prepare food to meet particular dietary requirements for customers. • Working to advised food safety and hygiene standards and processes. • Be a positive team player and work with both Back and Front of house teams to ensure effective, efficient running of the kitchen.
Job Requirements
Preferably 2 plus years experience but we can consider candidates with 1.5 years on grill Some food preparation and safety qualifications would be handy, cookery courses
- Days of work
- 5 days and roaster system 10am - 2pm or 4pm - 10pm, we are flexible. (30 hours per week)
