Traffic Controllers Play an essential role in the safety of our team and public during construction and maintenance activities. Traffic controllers are involved in putting out signs and cones as well as putting in place barriers and also assist with stop/go driving activities. Working as one team you’ll be a jack of all trades jumping in when needed. Communication is essential whether you are talking on the walkie-talkie or liaising with the public to ensure their safety. If you hold a Full Class 1 drivers licence and have a commitment to safe work practises, we can help you start your career in civil construction. These TMO roles are full time-permanent positions based in Taupo/Turangi. The roles will be rostered however this could involve occasional weekend, night work and days where you will be on call. As a Traffic Management Operative (TMO), you will assist with Temporary Traffic Management under the direction of a Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS). Ultimately you will work to ensure the safety of your crew and the public through clear and accurate direction of traffic. You will also: Help with sign and cone placement and pack down Assist with stop/go activity Driving duties

Job Requirements
Important Skills You will be a physically fit and motivated person and will bring with you: Class 1 full license but Class 2 preferred A valid TMO warrant would be highly regarded Flexibility to work occasional weekend and night shift is desirable Show commitment to safe work practises
