Produce Assistant
About this job
If you have a desire to work in a small grocery store produce department in the Awapuni/Riverdale area and have retail produce experience, can work at pace, cope with pressure, follow instructions and available to start at 6:30am, then please read on. The appointee will be cutting, trimming packing and presenting vegetables and fruit along with receipting some grocery items and undertaking shelf replenishment and other duties as required.
Job Requirements
You need: -To preferably have retail produce experience -Be physically fit -Able to undertake lifting and work some of the time in the chiller - Follow instructions and be well organised - Have a high standard of personal presentation - Able to work at a reasonable pace and cope well under pressure - Have a can-do attitude - Be punctual, reliable and have transport to get to and from work - Have an eye for detail - Able to start at 6:30am - Pass a security check and drug test A covering letter is required to apply for this position
