We are currently assisting an employer in their search for a dedicated and reliable Labour Maintenance and Labourer to join their team. This full-time role involves managing commercial and high-end residential projects across Whangarei and surrounding areas, with a focus on maintaining high standards of property upkeep.
Day-to-day tasks include: • Managing commercial and residential projects, ensuring grounds and common areas are neat and tidy. • Maintaining lawns, trimming edges, and ensuring gardens are well-kept. • Assisting with rodent and pest control and implementing necessary solutions. • Ensuring tools and equipment are well-maintained and securely stored after use. • Performing general maintenance tasks, including painting and basic repairs. • Regularly water blasting buildings to maintain cleanliness and presentation.
Job Requirements
Prerequisites: • At least 3 years of verifiable experience in landscaping and general maintenance. • Strong physical fitness, as the role involves tasks such as digging, moving soil, and heavy lifting. • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. • A clean criminal record. • Professional presentation and a reliable work ethic. • Valid Class 1 (Car) clean driver’s licence. • Pass a drug test
