Home Care Support Worker (Mid North)

Home Support North is Northland’s largest provider of in-home care and support services. We provide essential services to make daily life easier, including personal care, meal preparation, and housekeeping. They have clients in Kaikohe, Paihia, Russell area needing help getting to appointments, doing shopping or going for a daily walk and are hiring assistants NOW.

Your duties include helping with household management, making daily life easier with shopping and meal preparation, offering nourishment through feeding assistance, providing dignity through personal care, showering and toileting support, elevating lives with assistance in everyday tasks, fostering connections by supporting community integration and activities and ensuring comfort through personal care supervision.

Applicants need to be willing and able to work across all 7 days of the week, including at least 1 x weekend day. Hours worked usually fall within the times of 7am starts to 7pm finishes. Hours worked can be from 15hrs pw all the way up to 35hrs pw, based on availability and mutually agreeable working arrangements. On-going training and career development
