Housekeeper

Welcome Bay facility housing kiwifruit seasonal workers, is looking for housekeepers, full and part time options available. Duties include; daily cleaning of all communal facilities including dining hall, bathrooms and common areas, weekly vacuum of bedrooms, fortnightly sheet changes and laundry, general housekeeping to ensure the accommodation complex is clean and well-presented, spring cleaning as required no less than twice a year, liaise with Team Leaders and pastoral care provider to ensure everyone is working together to look after guests and the property. Previous commercial cleaning / housekeeping experience is essential along with excellent time management skills, good communication skills, ability to follow instructions and use initiative, you must be able to work autonomously and be comfortable working with different cultures and diverse workforce. Must have own reliable transport and minimum of Restricted Driver’s License, be drug free, convictions considered case by case. Hours minimum: 25 - 30 hours over 5 days from Monday to Saturday 7:30am – 5:00pm, shifts can be flexible within these hours / days to suit personal commitments, including school-based hours. Hourly rate: $25 - $29.00 depending on experience. 1 x Immediate start. 1 x March 2025 start. Both positions are permanent.
