Level 4 Caregiver
About this job
We are seeking an additional caregiver for our Canterbury facility with either Level 4 or above certifications or a relevant 1 year work experience in the healthcare industry. Our Employment Terms and Conditions are as per NZ Employment Law and are covered by an Employment Agreement. The minimum hours per week will be 30 and the pay rate is between $26.94 - $29.10 depending on Qualifications Job Description- -Preform using care and personal needs assistance as it is detailed in the nursing care plan for each resident, under the planning, direction and guidance of the registered nurse -Observe and report immediately to the Registered nurse or manager on residents condition where the is a departure from normal patterns or activities -Ensure the privacy, safety and comfort of residents at all times -Practice economy in the appropriate use of supplies, equipment and time -Accompanying aged and disabled persons during daily activities -Assisting clients with their mobility -Assisting in personal hygiene and dressing -Providing companionship and emotional support -Performing housekeeping tasks -Comply with the code of behaviour detailed within the Rest home house rules

You will require: A strong empathy and patience with elderly residents Kindness and understanding with a long suffering mindset A reliable, friendly and professional manner to all Basic computer skills Level 4 or above certificate Level 4 Care workers
